SHRA is a non-profit making professional association with 12 human resource management societies as its members. In total, the societies consist of over 700 individual members, professional managers and experts from enterprises, institutions and other establishments involved in human resources and the development of human resource management. From February 2023 SHRA has a new president, Ivan Papič. Before him was Gregor Rajšp who was in this position for the past six years.

As a professional organisation, the Association’s activities contribute to the development of human resources and to establishing human resource capacities within organisations. The Association organises at least one annual event – Slovenski kadrovski kongres (Slovenian HR congress). The Slovenian HR Congress takes place regularly in April. The event is prepared in cooperation with our partners. For this occasion, a special edition of HRM magazine is published. Other activities that SHRA also covers are meetings on regional levels in HR clubs presenting actual HR topics to members. Round tables and academic discussions on legal changes, actual open topics
