This Working Group has completed it’s objectives and has now closed.
The EAPM Governance working group was established in January 2022 with the purpose of updating the statutes and rules of procedure. As a not-for-profit organisation with 34 European Members, it is recognised that up-to-date Governance procedures and policies are key to the EAPM’s success. The current EAPM Statutes, which were approved by the Delegates Assembly in November 2016, aim to promote transparency, participation and efficiency within the organisation.
At the 2021 Delegates Assembly, the EAPM delegates voted for changes to be made to the Board size and composition, as well as some changes to Secretariat, which is now held semi-permanently by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD UK). These changes need to be reflected in the Governance documentation.
EAPM Governance working group lead
Even Bolstad is president of the EAPM, managing director of HR Norge and board member of the WFPMA. He has led HR Norge through merger and crisis, turnaround and growth, and transformed the organisation into what today is one of the strongest of its kind in Europe. He is an international speaker, frequently used commentator in Norwegian media and guest lecturer at several universities and business schools.
His agenda is to develop HR and HR organisations to take greater responsibility for developing a good and productive working life; for the common good of business, society and the individual employee. To succeed, HR must be developed to drive the agenda for people and organisation in an even more holistic and targeted way than today.
Even believes in EAPM as an important arena for developing values, building competencies and sharing tools and good practices across national borders. In this way, EAPM should support national organisations in their development, as well as being a voice for the HR profession across Europe.
