The European Association for People Management is the European umbrella organisation for national HR associations in Europe and facilitates experience exchange without profit or commercial gain.
It is purely professional and specialist in nature and is independent of all employers’, trade union, state or political bodies.
It is open to European national HR associations dedicated to the development of the HR and people profession and in harmony with our objectives and activities.

Who can become a member of the EAPM?
Admission requirements: you may be eligible to join the EAPM if you can answer ‘yes’ to the following questions:
- You represent a national association in Europe with a thematic focus on HR issues;
- Your association is recognised as the lead HR and people profession body in your country;
- Your association is an independent member association governed by a board elected among its members;
- Your association has a primarily non-commercial objective ie it may be a not for profit or charitable organisation;
- Your association has national outreach and is open to members from all regions within the country;
- No other HR Association from your country is a member of the EAPM. See the list of country organisations here;
- Your association is willing to support EAPM objectives and to deliver on EAPM commitments;
- Your association is willing to be compliant with the EAPM Code of Professional Conduct.
