As we step into 2025, the European Association for People Management (EAPM) is eager to build upon the remarkable progress of 2024. This year presents new opportunities to strengthen our community, enhance the HR profession across Europe, and drive meaningful impact through strategic initiatives and collaborations.

Aligning with EAPM’s Six Core Objectives
In 2024, the Board reviewed and refined the EAPM strategy, reinforcing our commitment to our six core objectives:
  1. Enhancing HR Knowledge in Europe
We will continue to partner with thought leaders and institutions to provide cutting-edge research and insights for HR professionals. The Surveys and Insights Working Group will collaborate on key studies to inform the future of work and people management.
  1. Supporting National Association Members
Strengthening engagement remains a top priority. In 2025, we aim to refine our membership structure, ensuring inclusivity and relevance. Our community will benefit from tailored resources, networking opportunities, and enhanced knowledge-sharing platforms.
  1. Facilitating Communication and Collaboration
With our refined value proposition emphasising community, collaboration, and content, EAPM will leverage its digital presence, social media campaigns, and events to keep HR professionals connected across Europe. The Communications Working Group will continue amplifying our impact through innovative campaigns.
  1. Establishing Partnerships with Other Organisations
Building on 2024’s successful partnerships, we will expand our collaboration with European institutions, corporate sponsors, and other key stakeholders to maximise our impact. The Partnerships Working Group will spearhead efforts to secure new affiliations and sponsorship opportunities.
  1. Undertaking European-wide Activities
2025 will see an expansion of our events portfolio and International HR Day will be bigger than ever, aiming to surpass last year’s incredible reach and engagement. Our EU Working Group will strengthen ties with policymakers, influencing HR’s role in shaping Europe’s workforce.
  1. Raising Funds for Projects

Financial resilience remains key to EAPM’s sustainability. We will explore new revenue streams, optimise resources, and enhance sponsorship opportunities to support our initiatives. The Board and Secretariat will continue to implement strategies that secure long-term financial independence.

EAPM’s Value Proposition for 2025

Following the 2024 strategic review, EAPM reaffirmed its role as an exclusive networking community for HR professionals in Europe, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. All activities will align with the pillars of community, collaboration, and content, ensuring that every initiative contributes meaningfully to our mission or enhances our continuity.

Looking Forward Together
EAPM’s success is driven by the dedication of our working groups, Board members, Secretariat, and national association members. Together, we will seize the opportunities 2025 presents, strengthening our community, amplifying our impact, and shaping the future of HR in Europe.
Here’s to another year of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in HR. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember!
