The upcoming elections will require candidates for the role of board member. The current EAPM board comprises the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, five additional members, and the Head of Secretariat (in a non-voting role).

Role and Responsibilities

The EAPM Board is ultimately responsible for the overall strategic and financial management of the EAPM. Further details are available in the Operational Guidance.

Term of Office

Board members may serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms in the same role, then must exit the board unless appointed as Vice-President or President. After a period of two years, former board members become eligible to present themselves for election again, except for the host of the semi-permanent Secretariat who may not run for the roles of President or Vice-President.

For more information on these role profiles and tenure, please refer to the EAPM Regulations. Board members are expected to attend 6-7 board meetings per year, three of which are in-person or hybrid meetings hosted by a Member Association.

For additional information or an informal discussion about the role, please contact the current President, Berna Oztinaz, or the EAPM secretariat team via the contact form.

Delegates from any full member of the EAPM are invited to apply for this role. The election will take place at the Delegates Assembly Annual Meeting in Larnaca, Cyprus, in October. Elected members will commence their term on 1 January following the election, unless filling a casual vacancy.

We look forward to receiving your applications.
