International Journal of HRD: The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, from the perspective of human resource development and management

This exclusive issue aims to highlight the key priorities for human resource development and human resource management professionals, in supporting both the organisation and its staff, through the ongoing COVID–19 pandemic.

The International Journal of HRD Practice, Policy & Research, is a new peer-reviewed journal, which seeks to bring together international practitioners’ and academic expertise, to promote and support the understanding and practice of Human Resource Development. The Journal seeks to bridge the academic practice divide, first and foremost from a practice perspective. As a practice-centred journal, it is aimed at synergising practice with theory, to develop further insights and shared knowledge. The journal is critically reflective, and brings to light professional practitioners’ insight, ideas and understanding on the contemporary issues and challenges facing HRD, along with its crucial impact and influence across the globe.
