PERYÖN is a reputable organization, founded in 1971 in Turkey with a vision to be a lead non-governmental organization in People Management.  It provides leadership in developing the human resources as well as popularizing the People Management concepts in Turkey. PERYÖN creates platforms to facilitate collaboration between private sector, public sector, regulators, NGOs and academia.

Profile
PERYÖN is Turkey’s first non-governmental organization with a people management focus. With five regional branches in Thrace, South Marmara, Aegean, Central Anatolia and South-Eastern Anatolia and representing more than 3.000 members, PERYÖN is devoted to People Management as an influential voice. It is a member of European Association of Personnel Management (EAPM) since 1979. In 1991, PERYÖN successfully hosted the 25th EAPM Congress in Istanbul.

PERYÖN exists to:

• generate knowledge through research and projects
• provide information and ideas to policy and law makers as well as to the media
• proactively provide thought leadership to people management professionals and other NGOs
• enable coordination within and provide guidance to the sector
• support networking and career development of its members
• ease global integration.
