By embracing AI, addressing the skills gap, and navigating ethical challenges, HR professionals can lead their organisations into a promising future where technology and humanity coexist harmoniously.

The organisers of International HR Day say people professionals must ensure that ‘decent work and good jobs’ are delivered as workplaces adopt more technology and artificial intelligence tools than ever. The European Association for People Management (EAPM) use this day each year to celebrate how the HR and people profession, together with business, have a positive impact on working lives and business performance.

As with many other multi-national Associations, we have learned that some agenda items are more productive in-person. The EAPM Board took full advantage of the collaboration opportunities by focusing much of the meeting on re-aligning its strategy, vision and values as well as strengthening ways of working and stengthening psychological safety within the Board.
